WhatsApp will allow you to create surveys in group chats directly from the app.
Even though WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging platform today, the Meta-owned app is still behind its biggest rival, Telegram, when it comes to features.
For this reason, over the last few weeks, WhatsApp has been testing a number of new features with the goal of matching Telegram such as playing audio in the background or controlling the recording of voice notes.

Well, now WhatsApp is testing a new polling feature for groupswhich was already available on Telegram for some time.

The guys from the specialized media WABetaInfo have discovered in the latest beta of WhatsApp for iOS, with version number 2.22.6.70that the popular messaging client is working on a new feature that will allow you to create polls in group chats directly from the appwithout the need to resort to third-party services, as was the case until now.
As you can see in the screenshot that we leave below these lines, to create a survey in a group, WhatsApp will ask you to enter the question of the survey you want to create to presumably then allow you to list the different options for group members to vote on.

This new functionality of creating surveys in WhatsApp will only be available in groups and, in addition, these surveys will be end-to-end encrypted.
At the moment, this function it is still in the development phase, which means that it is not yet active on WhatsApp and that, therefore, we will still have to wait to be able to test it.
We must remember that this function that WhatsApp is working on It is already present on Telegram since 2018therefore, it was about time that Meta’s proprietary messaging client included this functionality in its platform.
