droidsnipe.com, Jakarta – WhatsApp has just launched a new update that allows users to share files in a larger size and number. Not only is the file size larger, WhatsApp also allows users to have more groups and more diverse emoji reactions to messages.

Practically, this change is an extraordinary breakthrough achieved by WhatsApp. Previously WhatsApp users could only send attachments with a size of 100 MB.

Interestingly, WhatsApp is currently increasing it to 2 GB for individual files. Apart from that, the files will also be protected by end-to-end encryption.

To send large files, the company recommends users to use Wi-Fi.

Users can also track uploads with a counter that appears in the app. These advanced features can be enjoyed by users after updating the application to the latest version.

Apart from the file size, WhatsApp also allows users to use emoji reactions in the latest version.

“The reaction was fun, fast, and also reduced the edge in the group. We will continue to improve it by adding wider expressions in the future,” WhatsApp said in a blog post.
