The MIUI launcher is going to change after the arrival of MIUI 13. This is what we know.
MIUI 13 is already a reality. The new version of Xiaomi’s operating system based on Android is going to begin to reach the first mobiles very soon, and today we already know many of the new features that this new installment of Xiaomi device software brings with it.
But, little by little, we are discovering new details of this version. The latest news is related to the MIUI Launcher, which as confirmed by Xiaomiui, is going to introduce some other interesting change with the arrival of MIUI 13.
You can hide the names of the applications in the MIUI 13 launcher
As has been verified, MIUI 13 launcher will introduce new options which will make it more like some of the best Android launchers out there.
One of the most interesting novelties that will be introduced will be the possibility of hide app names on home screen, thus achieving a simpler and cleaner appearance.
In addition to that, the new MIUI launcher will also include support for the new collection of dynamic widgets included in the applications, both Xiaomi’s own and third-party ones. As could be seen in the presentation, the widgets will show the app name just below, in the style of iOS. Therefore, we assume that this option will also work for hide widget textAnd not just the icons.
MIUI 13 will begin to reach the first mobile phones from the first quarter of 2022, starting in China and later making the leap to the global market. As of today, it is already possible to install the Chinese version of MIUI 13 beta on some compatible mobiles. The rest of the world will have to wait a little longer.
