Therefore, we will see what you should do if the Xiaomi camera application shows one of the following error messages:

- camera bug
- Camera app not responding
What to do if your Xiaomi camera stops working?
1- Reboot Xiaomi
The first thing to do if your Xiaomi camera stops working is to restart your phone. In fact, it often happens that the problem is due to a simple mistake. When this is the case, a small reboot will be enough to fix the problem. If it still doesn’t work, you can continue to the next step.
2- Update your apps
Occasionally the camera app doesn’t work because it didn’t Update . In fact, you will be able to update by accessing Google Play and then in My games and applications. If the app is already up to date or still not working, go to the next step.
3- Clear the cache of the Xiaomi camera application
The problem may come from the Xiaomi photo app cache. To resolve this issue, simply clear your app’s cache. To do this, you will need to access the Xiaomi settings menu. When you’re there, click Apps and notifications later then show apps then Camera. Finally, go to Storage and press Clear your cache. Then try to restart the app.
4- Restart Xiaomi in safe mode
If none of the above steps work, it probably means that you have entered an app that is installed on Xiaomi conflict with the camera . To find out if this is the case, you will need to restart Xiaomi in safe mode. To find out how to do this, see our article: How to start Xiaomi in safe mode. Once it’s started, you’ll need to try launching the camera app. If the latter works correctly, it means that a recently installed application is in conflict. Therefore, we recommend that you uninstall the latest Xiaomi apps and test if it works.
