The realme 9i is the first member of the realme 9 series, with a renewed design, Snapdragon 680 processor and 5,000 mAh battery.
Realme today announced the new generation of its series of affordable mid-range smartphones of the “9” family. The realme 9i It is the first member of this series, and it comes to succeed the realme 8i as a device of entry into the mid-range segmenthighlighted by a updated design and some interesting specificationsincluding a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series processor, a large battery or a high-resolution camera.
The realme 9i It has been presented in Vietnam, and for now no date has been given for its arrival in the rest of the world’s regions.

The new realme 9i debuts with a renewed aesthetic lines with respect to the previous generation, which most likely mark the path of what we will see in the brand’s next mid-range models.
Its back, finished in shiny plastic, has a vertical lines pattern which can be seen in the two shades in which the device is available: blue and black.
At the back is the camera modulelocated in the upper left corner, and formed by three different sensorsbeing the main 50 megapixel resolutionand the other two of 2 megapixels eachfor “macro” and portrait shots.
The realme 9i is available in two colors: blue and black.
The front of the phone is occupied by a 6.6-inch diagonal screen. It is an LCD panel with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 hertz. Compared to the 120 hertz panel of the realme 8i, this new model is a step back in terms of fluidity, and also in terms of brightness, since its maximum peak reaches 480 nits, compared to 600 nits of the realme 8i.
Under the hood of the device is the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 680a chip built in 6 nanometer format with 8 cores capable of running at a maximum of 2.4 GHz. The processor is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storagethe latter expandable by microSD up to 1 TB.
To all this we must add a large 5,000 mAh capacity battery and support for 33W realme Dart Charge fast charging. Really, by the way includes a charger in the boxalthough it is only capable of providing a maximum power of 18 W.
Despite being a smartphone launched in the middle of the year 2022, the realme 9i has Android 11 inside. Realme UI 2.0 is the customization layer that runs, and it is not clear when you will receive the update to the latest available version of the system.
realme 9i, price and when can it be purchased
In Vietnam, the realme 9i is priced at 6,490,000 Vietnamese dong, about 250 euros to change.
It can already be purchased at some distributors authorized by the brand in the Asian country, and at the moment no data has been given on its arrival in the rest of the world’s regions.
