5G is the latest wireless network technology that has not been fully adapted by the world. Most smartphones have been launched with support for the new wireless technology although it is limited in a few countries. But new technology is increasingly becoming the new standard in the smartphone industry. With the launch of new devices like the iPhone 12 and Google Pixel that support 5G, it shows how serious tech companies really are about 5G technology.

However, next-generation networks are already under development in many parts of the world. The revolutionary 6G is said to be 100 to 500 times faster than the current 5G network. And according to sources, Google and Apple have both joined the new 6G industry group. Therefore, we can most likely expect the iPhone 6G and Pixel to come out in the next few years. The Next G Alliance will hold their first meeting next week and will be chaired by the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).

Susan Miller ATIS CEO stated, †While the world is exploring opportunities that will light the way to 6G, the US must take action. timely and critically to ensure unquestionable leadership in 6G innovation and development. The old leadership models will not play in this new future given the geopolitical landscape. If the US is really going to assert its leadership, it will have to act in a new way. â€

The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions is a North American trade association whose primary goal is to “advance North America’s mobile technology leadership in 6G and beyond over the next decade, while building on the long-term evolution of 5G”. With Apple and Google joining forces such as Charter Communications, Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Intel, Keysight Technologies, LG Electronics, Mavenir, MITER and VMware; the world will soon feel the power of the 6G revolution.
