Garena Will Hold Arena of Valor International Championship, Prizes IDR 23 Billion!

9, Jakarta – The 2022 Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) will be held in the near future this year. The world-class tournament has prepared a fantastic total prize, which is US$ 2 million (around Rp. 29 billion).

The tournament, which was held by Level Infinite and Garena, will compete against the 16 best teams around the world.

Each team comes from 10 regions, namely SEA Wildcard (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines), Garena Challenger Series (GCS), ROV Pro League (RPL), Arena of Galory (AOG), AOV Star League (ASL Indonesia) , Brazil, Western Europe, Turkey, Middle East and North Africa.

AIC 2022 consists of four main stages. First the Group Stage (16 – 19 June), then the Quarter Finals (23 – 26 June, Semi Final (2 – 3 July), and the Grand Final (10 July).

Later each participant will be divided into four groups and compete in two phases. While the Quarter Finals will present competition between eight teams. Then proceed to the Semi-Finals and take a week’s break before entering the Grand Finals.

On the other hand, previously there was an Indonesian representative team, which had already fought in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Wildcard Round, namely Archangel.

They competed with three other teams, starting from Tamago from Singapore, Imperial Esports from the Philippines, and finally A Dope Team from Malaysia.

Even so, unfortunately the team esports from Indonesia, has not been able to win the competition. The move must be stopped by A Dope Team in the Grand Final round. With the Best of 5 (Bo5) match format, A Dope Team controlled the match since games first.

Then also get victory points in games second. Until finally, they managed to win the match with a landslide score of 3 – 0. Thus, the ticket to AIC 2022 was successfully secured by the Malaysian team. Including taking home the main prize, namely money worth US $ 2 thousand (approximately Rp. 29 million).
