A recent report revealed that Honor has postponed the Honor V40 series launch event to January 18th.
Ahead of the rumored launch, a spec sheet of the Honor V40 smartphone has appeared on Weibo (via: Â Mydrivers).

According to the leaks, the Honor V40 measures 163.32 x 74.08 x 7.85mm and weighs about 184 grams. It has a 6.72-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design and 80-degree curvature at the edges. The display supports Full HD+ resolution with a resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels, 1.07 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate. And for the camera sector, the Honor V40 has a 32 megapixel front camera.
The back of the phone has a quad-camera setup that can feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary lens or a 64-megapixel camera as the primary shooter. The main lens will be paired with an 8 megapixel super wide angel lens, a 2 megapixel dept sensor camera, and a 2 megapixel macro camera.
Dimensity 1000+ chipset will be an option for this Honor V40 with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The device will be backed by a 4,000mAh (or 3,900mAh) battery. The handset brings support for 66W fast charging and 45W fast wireless charging technology.
For this part of the Honor V40 screen, the Honor V40 OLED panel is equipped with a fingerprint scanner. It will also bring support for 2D face unlock. For additional storage, the device is equipped with an NM card slot. This device is preinstalled with Magic UI 4.0 based Android 10 OS. However, for leaked information about the price of this device, there is no further information.
The Honor V40 series is speculated to have two models. The variant model number mentioned above could be YOK-AN10 . Other models may have the model number NWE-AN10. The latter was recently spotted with a 90Hz refresh rate display and a Dimensity 1000+ chip on benchmarking site GameBench.
