The Crowded Clubhouse App Users, What Is It and How Does It Work?

The voice chat app Clubhouse has been the talk of the town lately, especially after Elon Musk used it to interview Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev about his decision to prevent users from buying GameStop stock.

Clubhouse app

Quoted by Toms Guide, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Clubhouse is about voice and spoken words, not text-based like in other social networks. In this app, users can create their own conversations, listen to others, or in some cases join the ongoing conversation in the community.

Typically, joining a conversation in a community occurs with one person speaking to a silent audience. A conversation on a variety of different topics can occur at any given time. That way, users can go in and out to find something interesting.

Anyone can have a conversation, but Clubhouse is known for talking to a lot of big names. They include Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey and Elon Musk, who have helped catapulted Clubhouse.

Many rooms are also arranged by experts, so users can listen to topics being discussed by people in the know.

To get Clubhouse invites, users must join. Please note this app is only available on iPhone. So for Android users, it’s out of luck at the moment.

After that users can’t simply register, like they do on Facebook or Twitter, because the Clubhouse is currently only available for invitations.

What is ADB on Android and what does it do

The app is pretty exclusive, only existing users can invite new members, even though they only have two invites to share. Unless you know someone who has joined, and can send invites.

The app is still available for download, and users can add their name to the waiting list. But no one knows when they will be able to register like that.

Co-founder Paul Davison has promised that Clubhouse will be available to everyone, including Android users, eventually. Unfortunately, there’s no exact date for that.
