The physical appearance It is one of the aspects on which the brand has placed the most emphasis during the presentation of its device. And it is that it is the first device to be built using a biological polymer that simulates the texture of paper.
Its design has been made in collaboration with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, who was already immersed in the development of the realme GT Master Edition last year.
Apart from the white color, the realme GT 2 Pro is also available in a light green shadeas well as blue and black.
Leaving materials and textures aside, the aesthetic lines of the GT 2 Pro they are not very different from other realme models. Its back has a clean look, with a metal camera module located in the upper left cornerand an aluminum chassis that acts as a link between the rear panel and the screen.
In that sense, the front panel of the phone it has a diagonal of 6.7 inches and has curves on its sides. The device screen makes use of AMOLED technology and it has a Quad HD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120 hertz. Since it is an LTPO type panel, the screen is able to vary its refresh rate efficiently between 1 and 120 hertz.
And right here comes the first surprise of the day: In addition to the realme GT 2 Pro, the brand has announced a slightly cropped version, called realme GT 2 Pro, whose main difference is in the inclusion of a 6.62-inch Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120 hertz.
The panel is slightly curved on its sides, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus glass against scratches and bumps.
Under the hood of the realme GT 2 Pro we find the Qualcomm’s most powerful processor to date, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and internal storage of 128 or 256 GB, depending on the chosen configuration.
To that we must add a 5,000 mAh capacity battery, with support for 65W fast charging. Unfortunately, realme has decided not to include wireless charging in this model, which distances it somewhat from some of its most direct rivals within this category of devices.
The realme GT 2 Pro is the brand’s first mobile to arrive with realme UI 3.0, the new version of the company’s customization layer, based on Android 12, with news such as a new widget style for home screenimprovements in permission management and advances in privacy and system security.
His photographic system keeps the occasional ace up his sleeve. The main chamber has 50 megapixel resolution, and is associated with an optical image stabilizer. As a secondary camera, a 50 megapixel sensoralong with a ultra wide angle lens with a field of view of 150 degreesthe largest ever seen on a smartphone.
Finally, it includes a 3 megapixel camera that acts as a microscope at up to 40x magnification to take macro photography to the next level. Previously, we have already seen a similar solution in the OPPO Find X3 Pro.
