Astronauts Make History Makes First TikTok Video in Space

Reporting from DNA (10/5), a unique and interesting video was recently posted from space by aEuropean Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti.

This SpaceX Crew-4 astronaut posted a TikTok video from the International Space Station on May 5 to become a TikToker as well as the first tiktok video in space.

On April 27th,astronaut Samantha lands in a laboratory orbiting it for six months.

Through the TikTok video which is about 88 seconds long, Samantha can be seen telling the audience about her experience when launching Crew-4, as well as introducing two money dolls that are indicators of zero gravity at launch.

There is a stuffed monkey named Etta and a stuffed turtle named Zippy.Samantha explained, Etta is short for ‘scimmietta’ which comes from Italian meaning “little monkey”.

In addition, in the video Samantha also shows the view from the space station and states that the first few days of the Crew-4 mission were very busy, because the members needed to learn as much information as possible from the Crew-3 team as soon as possible.

So far, the video has received over 41,000 views and 8,000 likes. Samantha made her second space flight; he previously spent time on the space station from November 2014 to June 2015.
